Laurentian International, The Center for International Affairs Laval Technopole and the Society for International Development for Lanaudière (SODIL), announced this year's export leaders awards at the 12th Annual MercadOr Gala in St-Eustache, Quebec.
Organized in collaboration with Emploi-Québec (EQ), the Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export (MDEIE) and Investissement Quebec (IQ), this event rewards the achievements of companies exporting from regions of the Laurentians, Laval and Lanaudière.
MercadOr recognized 12 winners, 4 per region each having distinguished themselves during 2009 for their international efforts. Four awards were presented in the following categories: New Exporter, Market Diversification Implementation or abroad, Innovative Practices in Human Resources Management and Export Leader.
